Dan and Anne along with their families are hosting our wedding weekend guests at the Dr. Sun-Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, in historic Vancouver Chinatown. We have a great evening planned of dinner, drinks, and more! We recommend arranging transportation from where you staying, as we are not able to provide parking.

Time: 18:30

Dress Code: Cocktail

If you’d like to join us for the after-party, we will be headed to The American at 926 Main St to continue the evening!

Vancouver is Dan and Anne’s favourite city in the world - we’re not biased - so if you can spend some time here, we would highly recommend exploring the city.

Here are some things to do in the area:

Stanley Park and the Seawall - enough for a full day! Check out First/Second/Third beach for an opportunity to swim with the locals at the beach or public pools, visit the Aquarium, or get some exercise and walk the beautiful 10km Seawall.

Granville Island with an optional zodiak tour to Indian Arm. Bonus points for visiting Granite Falls, where Dan and Anne did an overnight kayak trip and made it official! For something a little less involved, try out the Aquabus

The West End and English Bay - relax on the sand with a laidback day in the sun

Go shopping on Robson Street, and go out for a few drinks and dancing on Granville Street

For those who are more adventurous:

Drive the Sea to Sky Highway to Squamish or Whistler, hike the Chief (or cheat and take the gondola)

Visit the bears and lumberjacks at Grouse Mountain, and if you have an extra hour, do the Grouse Grind, nature’s stairmaster!

For a meal reco:

Anh and Chi
Japadog
Homer Street Cafe
Vij’s
Kissa Tanto
and for a drink,
